Free, and provided as is

LessLLM is free software, provided “as is”, with no warranty of any kind.

This is a productivity tool, not treatment

LessLLM is a self-control and productivity tool. It is not medical treatment, therapy, addiction treatment, or crisis support. If you are in crisis or struggling with compulsive behavior in a way that affects your wellbeing, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis line.

Your device, your choices

You are responsible for your own device and for choosing what to block and when. Only install LessLLM on a Mac you own and control.

Blocking is best effort, not a guarantee

The blocking is best effort, not a guarantee. A determined user can get around it, and coverage of new AI domains may lag. Encrypted DNS (DoH), VPNs, proxies, other devices, and local models can fall outside its reach. See the Known Limitations on the home page.

Self-ransom payments are non-refundable

Self-ransom payments are non-refundable — see the Refund Policy. You choose the amount yourself before you lock a block.

Acceptable use

Don’t use LessLLM to interfere with devices or people you don’t control, or for anything unlawful.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LessLLM and William Martin are not liable for lost work, missed messages, or any consequence of a blackout or of the software’s operation.

Governing law

Governing law: United States.
